Balancing Room consists out of a a moving platform inside of a square room. The user enters the room through a door and steps on the platform. The user moves the platform by walking over it and balancing on it. There is projection on the walls to the left and the right. The projected room, that appears to be completely mounted to the fysical room, moves along with the platform.

Balancing Room takes the user on an interactive journey where the user gets the choice to either help the other people in the room and make their dreams become reality by opening doors for them or to not open them. Only question is whether they will help you. Passivity or activity ultimately lead to an empty room. In the end the user has to take his or her own door to exit the room and is confronted to think about his or her own dreams.
